I was getting gas at the Food City and trying to determine if I had time to stop somewhere for breakfast. Then I remembered the Bread Basket right across the parking lot. I ran in and got a cream cheese muffin that was as big as the head of a small child. This muffin will be breakfast and lunch. It is absolutely delicious.
I cannot say enough good things about this place. The staff is so friendly and helpful. The sourdough bread is the best bread I have ever put in my mouth 🤤🤤 they have all kinds of samples to try as well, and they are all delicious. The cake is so moist and tastes amazing, some of the best I've ever had. This is by far the best bakery around. Just wish it was closer to me, it's about thirty minutes away, but well worth the drive!! They also have different specials each day. If you haven't been here, you need to go ASAP!!

Is it possible for this place to have a bad review? Delicious, stunning, fresh made baked goods that win me over every time. I’ve been getting the sweet sour dough rolls since I was a little girl. I nolonger live in Chattanooga so my mom brings them up to me when she visits. Anything you get here you will love. I highly recommend the walnut cinnamon bread! It is amazing. Yes, a treat from here is always a pleasure!
Today was My first time trying The Bread Basket (was recommended from a friend) , I called in advanced to see if they had cinnamon rolls , I was greeted professionally and was told yes that they did. I get 1 cinnamon roll , pay and head out . You guys as I was walking to My car I told Myself ‘let Me try this real quick’ Man ! That fresh , moist , sweet and delicious taste INSTANTLY hit Me ! I literally tossed the bag that the cinnamon roll was in and immediately went back and got Me two more cinnamon rolls 😇 . A Blessing Experience . 💯
Everything here is delicious. A couple of my favorites are the cream cheese, sourdough muffin, and the five flavor poundcake.
I was greeted as soon as I walked in. The 2 associates were very useful with helping me decide which flavor to choose. The muffins were on sale for today, so I got 2 with a mini loaf. The muffins are huge!!!!

You can truly taste the care and quality that goes into each item. The bread is perfectly baked and full of flavor, and the pastries are simply outstanding, my new obsession is definitely the cream cheese muffins! Everything I tried was fresh, delicious, and perfectly balanced, never overly sweet. It’s clear this is a place where baking is a true passion, not just a business. This bakery has THE BEST cakes EVER! Sooooo moist and they never back down on thier icing, which is a whole other level of goodness. I'd never heard of or eaten a Margarita Cake until the Bread Basket! This one is my favorite but they have so many others. I think they only make them in the summer months but they are worth waiting on Trust Me! Got mine today!
